Handmade to order
Every piece at MiniDreamsDecor is lovingly handmade in our small studio in Tallinn, Estonia. We combine traditional felting techniques with careful hand-sewing and finishing to create soft, durable nursery mobiles that are safe for babies and beautiful in any nursery.
Our process
- Design & prototyping: Each new design begins as a hand-sketch and a small prototype to test scale, weight and movement.
- Cutting & felting: We use high-quality wool felt and natural fibres pieces are cut and shaped by hand or by small batch templates and then felted or stuffed to the correct density.
- Assembly & finishing: All elements are stitched securely, knots and joins are reinforced, and final trimming and grooming ensure a clean, soft finish. Every mobile is carefully balanced to rotate gently without pulling on the bracket.
- Quality inspection: Every item passes a final safety and quality check before packaging (stitch strength, string length, secure attachments).
Materials & safety
- We prioritise non-toxic, natural materials: wool felt, cotton thread, untreated wooden hoops and beads.
- Small parts are avoided or secured so they cannot detach during normal use. Where beads or wooden tags are used, they are fixed with extra-secure knots and stitching.
- All products come with clear safety & installation instructions, always follow the hanging height recommendations and remove the mobile once your child can sit up or pull themselves up.
Personalisation & made-to-order
- We offer colour, name and tiny-detail personalisation on many of our mobiles. Personalised pieces are made to order and therefore may take additional time (see processing times).
Shipping
Processing time
All mobiles are made to order. Processing time begins when your payment is confirmed.
- Handmade mobiles: 1–3 weeks to process.
- Other products: 1–2 weeks to process.
If you need an item faster, select FedEx Express at checkout or contact us to request an expedited processing slot (additional fees may apply).
Shipping methods & estimated delivery
Once your order has shipped you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Standard (postal / economy) — tracked:
- European countries: 1–1.5 weeks
- United Kingdom: 1–2 weeks
- United States: 2–3 weeks
- Canada: 2–3 weeks
- Australia & New Zealand: 2–4 weeks
Express (FedEx / courier) — tracked and insured: 3–6 business days worldwide (select at checkout).
Return policy
How to start a return
- Email us within 14 days of receiving your order: info@minidreamsdecor.com. Include your order number and reason for return.
- We’ll reply with return instructions and the address to send the item.
- Ship the item back to:
Tulika 17, Tallinn 10613, Estonia. - Once we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you about refund approval.
Please note: Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or we shipped the wrong product.
Please note that items that are made to order or personalised in our shop are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where the item is faulty or we have sent the wrong product. This includes (but is not limited to):
- All made-to-order crib mobiles and custom mobiles.
- Personalised items (e.g. name additions, embroidered details, custom colour combinations).
- Bespoke or specially commissioned orders created to customer specifications.
If a personalised or made-to-order item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us immediately at info@minidreamsdecor.com with clear photos and your order number. We will evaluate the issue and, where applicable, arrange a replacement or refund.
Why personalised items are non-returnable
Personalised and made-to-order products are made specifically for you and cannot easily be resold to another customer. For that reason, and in line with consumer protection rules, these items are excluded from our standard return rights unless faulty.
